Our selection of the best young Reunionese U25s will meet the CHESSMATES INTERNATIONAL U25 selection (French Elite under 25s). Match by team of 3 players In 3 rounds of 1h30+30sec/move Each player meets the three players of the opposing team. Each game won brings 1 point to the team. The team with the most points wins the game.

The CHESSMATES INTERNATIONAL team began its chess journey on Reunion Island with a simultaneous session at the premises of the Saint-Paul club, to the great satisfaction of the participants.
Thursday, December 15th began the 1st SuperYoung CHESSMATES Meetings - LA REUNION. The CHESSMATES team won the first day 3 to 0 with great resistance from local players who held the games for more than 4 hours.

Due to the rapidly changing pandemic situation over the past year, tournament organizers have had to quickly transition from face-to-face events to unfamiliar online tournament formats.
However, switching to available online platforms is not always easy for organizers who are often forced to switch to this new format with little practical or moral support. The recent introduction of hybrid chess by FIDE allowing online games to be approved for the ELO FIDE rating, offers totally new perspectives for the future, especially for team events. In response to this new situation, ChessMates International organized a training session on the Tornelo platform recently approved by FIDE. Tornelo is one of the only platforms suitable for organizing hybrid events.
