To discover
of
international chessmates

The founding members of ChessMates® are chess organizations from Rotterdam, Paris and Murmansk: the "Ligue de l'IIe de France des Echecs" from Paris, the "Pathena Foundation" from Rotterdam and the "Regional Chess Federation from Murmansk" from Murmansk.

By signing the ChessMates Charter, members commit to each other  to organize a tournament at least once every 3 years with the participation of the 3 founding teams, supplemented by a few other teams. In this way, these organizations ensure that in the years to come there will always be a great international scene for talented young chess players from our regions.

The signing of the Charter is a first step in this collaboration; in the future, other cities may join, and international cooperation may develop more and more.

ChessMates gives a strong boost to international youth chess.
